# Why Deploy

### **1. The Problem**

Despite over $2 trillion in digital assets held globally, the vast majority of crypto capital remains idle. They sit in wallets or exchanges, earning little to no yield.\
Existing yield products are either:

* Risky (dependent on secondary tokens or leverage), or
* Limited (restricted to staking and lending protocols with <3% APY).

***

### **2. The Deploy Solution**

Deploy Finance was built to change this. It introduces synthetic, fully-collateralized tokens called dAssets to transform idle crypto into productive, yield-bearing capital.

Each dAsset is 1:1 backed by underlying collateral held with institutional MPC custodians and deployed into delta-neutral funding-rate strategies that generate sustainable, market-neutral returns.

This allows anyone to access structured yield on their holdings.

***

### **3. Proven Model: Non-Tokenized Pilot**

Before launching the tokenized protocol, Deploy conducted a non-tokenized beta phase to validate its strategy, custody model, and performance metrics.

**Pilot Results (6-Month Period):**

| Metric | Result |
| ---------------- | ---------------- |
| Total Deposits | **$15 Million+** |
| Assets Supported | USDC |
| Average Return | 22.6% annualized |
